Why doesn't Nextel bite the bullet, they have already admitted they are
causing the interference, and move to 700 MHz.  Leave everyone else
alone and be a responsible player.  They created the mess. Why should
they pay me part of what it will cost me to move to avoid a problem that
they caused.  They caused the problem, let them be the one that moves.
Unless there is some BIG under the table "insurance policies" (payoff)
being paid. Responsible people admit their problems and fix them.  Not
put the burden on everyone else. The 800 MHz users have large
investments in equipment.  Why should these people have to buy new
equipment.  Or is it that the manufactures of the equipment have again
saturated the market, and have to create an outlet for untried and
unproved technology.

Just an observation from one that has had a problem with one IDEN site.

Yep, they are in BIG trouble their stock recently touched $4
$10B will increase their worth and the stock will shoot up
