NO.  Status bits are NOT used for paging functions and have nothing to do
with paging.  They are used for indicating a specific status to all of
the radios on that particular talkgroup.  Thus when an Emergency
Crosspatch is initiated the Status Bit switches to 4 and all radios on
that talkgroup hear the traffic being crosspatched.

Again NO.  If the frequency is part of the trunked system it will not be
used conventionally unless the trunked system goes into failsoft due to a
controller failure.  EDACS systems do transmit data on the trunked system
but it is not conventional - it is done as part of the trunked system.
