[TrunkCom] Determining EDACS Logical Channel Order

Yes, however looking at the track record of the LCRA system at:

	http://www.trunkedradio.net/cgi-bin/display.pl?sid=48

Some of the repeaters are all out of order, for example:

	Smithville 935.7000 936.7000 937.2500 937.7250 939.9375
936.9500 937.4625 937.8875 938.1750 939.4250

Those frequencies are all jumbled around; the La Grange repeater is
listed:

	La Grange 935.1375 937.6750 938.9000 939.4125 939.9125

Everything is in order on that tower. It doesn't seem correct to me that
whoever set this system up would put some towers in order and others in
a different order. My thought is, all repeaters would use channels in a
slightly different order.

The order we are using for the channels is the order that the FCC has
the channels listed. These channels are SORTED by numerical order, NOT
by EDACS LCN. In fact, it even lists the Smithville tower in a
completely different order than that above; it lists them in numerical
order.

This is why I am saying, I think I have them out of order!

That also is not to mention, the fact that I am hearing the random
bursts of data on a voice channel. When I use my conventional scanner, I
hear the repeater ID itself on channel 21 always, never any different.
My conventional radio picks it up, but the trunked radio doesn't.
Obviously the control channel is telling it NOT to unsquelch for that
amount of time.

Therefore, could the control channel tell the radio to seek to channel
22 for example and unsquelch and its picking up a data signal, when
channel 22 should be a different frequency with voice?

I hope this makes some sense.
