[TrunkCom] Determining EDACS Logical Channel Order

Hello everyone! I had such great luck with my last question on this
mailing list; I figure I'll give this one a shot. Maybe someone has done
something like this.
One of the repeaters in my area for the Lower Colorado River Authority -
Wide Area Radio System is in my city. I am missing some traffic on this
system and also hearing traffic that is NOT on the correct talkgroup
using my PRO-94; however, if I put these channels into my old scanner, I
can pickup all of the traffic with no glitch. My guess is that I have
them in the wrong order.
These are the frequencies that are in use, in the exact order they are
shown in the FCC database (which sorts them, I know) and on
trunkedradio.net:
935.1375
937.6750 <CONTROL CHANNEL>
938.9000
939.4125
939.9125
I have laid them out in an empty bank in my conventional scanner, bank 3
to be exact, like this:
Ch. 21 935.1375
Ch. 22 938.9000
Ch. 23 939.4125
Ch. 24 939.9125
I leave both scanners on and running and after scanning a few times, I
always hear them in this order, they are SEQUENTIALLY correct. This
meaning, that I always hear traffic on 23, then 24, then 21 and then 22.
My questions are these:
1. How do I know where to start my trunked radio? Which
frequency is technically FIRST?
2. Where does the control channel go in this layout? Would it
automatically be the first channel in this type of setup?
3. Is the repeater ID a sign of the first channel?
4. For all interested parties, this repeater in La Grange, IS
NOT transmitting the normal EDACS beeps after a transmission!! Why,
I don't know.
Given a way to identify channel number one, I would have an excellent
chance to determine the correct order at the regular security checks on
the hour on this system.
ANY help would be appreciated greatly!
