Subject: [TrunkCom] Massachusetts' trunked system for State Polie and
everyone else

Is there anyone out there who lives in Massachusetts and/or has knowledge of
the "mammoth" trunked system that is constantly in flux? For those of you
not aware, many different entities use the system throughout the state and
there have been lots of growing pains thus far.

I own a Pro-94 and really only pick transmission up sporadically, probably
something I'm "not" doing, but that is why I'm writing.

Is there a source on the web that I haven't found yet? Does someone have
personal knowledge to share about the state's radio system?

Also, I will probably upgrade to the 780 as the Pro-94 is not very useful
due to the fact that it only does trunking *or* conventional scanning at a
time. One of those things that I've learned as I continue to dig in to the
subject.

Thanks in advance
