Well, I have some good news that many people around Michigan was concerned
about, and that was as to whether or not the new scanner will work with
the Michigan State Police digital TRS, but I just received word on another
reflector that it will.  They already encrypt detective and under cover
talk groups understandably, but all the rest are clear.
