I highly doubt it will be able to follow the State of Michigan's system.  If
the new scanner is an upgraded 780 with a digital board then you're out of
luck.  Michigan uses the 9k6 control channel format which the current
trunktrackers won't do.

Of course, all this is really conjecture and rumours.  As far as I know the
only information out there is a press release from the CES show.  Until
somebody actually has one of the production models in their hands I wouldn't
believe anything anyone says.

There's already two mailing lists devoted to the new scanners.  Other then
that press release I don't think anyone really knows what's coming.
