Well, I have no idea since I've never even been to Washington before, and
don't have any multi-net systems within comfortable listening distance of
my house. I just have a couple of LTR systems, and one user since moving
to 900 MHz I don't believe has LTR any more, but I could be wrong. I hear
the data bursts of one 400 MHz LTR system, and that's it, and this user
now on 900 MHz had the same data bursts o800 that I am hearing on
400. There is one county in Michigan I know that has a multi-net system
but they are way north of me, and I haven't heard anything on how well the
system works.
Now, the LTR system that I used to have to listen to all the time
on 800 MHz in school like I said had the burst, and it was even coming in
over the bus radios. This bus company is now on 900 MHz with I think a
conventional system but they are using CTCSS tones from what I've
noticed. Aren't the newer LTR or multi-net systems using tones or data
bursts you can't hear?
