[TMC] TMC GPR 90 RXD signal overload

I am Larry in Montreal, recently acquired a GPR 90RXD. It is very easily
overloaded especially
on the BC band. Any suggestions.    Secondly, my model has an IF gain pot on
the rear but this is not shown in the manual and thereore no method for
optimal setting like in the Cliins R 390A.
Any documentation out there on this adjustment?  I thank you in advance for
any assistance you may be able to offer.
