If I remember, it is supposed to turn off the fuel first to breve t soot buildup. Haven’t used or seen one in years. I could probably use one, now I have to keep a lookout for one L Brown

I’m trying to setting up a gas-saver valve so that I can use my rosebud intermittently without having to readjust gases and relight with a spark lighter.  However, the valve seems to be shutting off the acetylene first instead of the oxygen causing the torch to “pop”..  Any ideas?  Is the gas saver setup backwards?
