[TheForge] Gas-saver problem

Gas savers always pop, I believe the gas closes first on purpose, maybe to avoid soot, I don't know. To be up front I haven't used an oxy acet gas saver in I don't know how many decades, I run an All States oxy propane with the valve on handle and the rose bud sounds like a shot gun.

Subject: [TheForge] Gas-saver problem
I’m trying to setting up a gas-saver valve so that I can use my rosebud intermittently without having to readjust gases and relight with a spark lighter. However, the valve seems to be shutting off the acetylene first instead of the oxygen causing the torch to “pop”.. Any ideas? Is the gas saver setup backwards?
