[TheForge] forge repair

Our forge casting has "clay before use" on the inside bottom of the pan
casting. We used potters clay about an inch thick. Rammed it in and let
it dry some.
Build a small fire and get to work. No need to fire it like a ceramic.
Often it is a bit soft in the wet season
If it begins to crack it's easy to repair.
I don't know that "refactory" as we know it today was available when it was
first made.
