Works but use propylene glycol rather than ethylene glycol as it's not 
nearly as toxic and isn't sweet so critters don't lick it or drink it out of 
the bucket. You really don't want your shop dog or cat dying from renal 
failure old antifreeze is BAD stuff, kills kidneys darned quickly for a 
painful death.
