[TheForge] OT- buzzards and tungsten

So my wife and I had a great time looking up black buzzards on the web- 
interesting that they don't have the capability to smell minute amounts of 
ethyl mercaptan, so they depend on turkey vultures to help them find food, 
and then they chase their benefactors away.
Since vultures are so sensitive to E.M., they have been helpful in finding 
propane leaks- I still think they circle near a propane link because 
someone's gonna die...

Also, we just returned from Mexico. When I was there forty years ago, a Bano 
(ban-yo) was a place to clean up, while a toilet was politely called a W.C.- 
a water closet.
Searching Google for "WC tungsten" returned some results from jewelry 
companies with no explanation of what the "WC" meant, also one result 
describing how a woman's expensive WC tungsten rings had been knocked into 
the toilet (WC) by her cat.
Typical Sunday Morning...
