Perhaps they have learned to associate the 2, and listen for the BANG.
But i think they are just extremely sharp eyed and are just looking for
the flies
that are attracted to both dead bodies and the smell of propane leaks.
I'll have to look for our turkey vultures when i next fill the propane
tanks.
They come by twice a day to check and see if we are dead yet.
