that is true is the credit card was stolen. with identity theft the card
is not considered stolen. their reasoning on this is that you the victim
never possessed the credit card therefore it can not have been stolen from
you.
a friend went through this last year. he just kept getting the run
around from the bank. he finally hired a lawyer to track down the low
life and after several months they found the low life . he was all ready
held on other charges in kane county illinois. my friend has never
received any restitution. so my friend is out the original amount the
low life ran up on credit cards but also the lawyer's fees and legal
fees.
banks will find any loophole they can to stick it to you the victim.
no matter how poor you are there is always some low life out there that
wants to take your last penny.
