You should live in Ohio and be of retirement or "Golden Buckeye" age. I get the home steader exemption, which is $25K off the tax appraised value of the home, so with the sheriff's department I get what I pay for. 

Oh, the deputies are really nice people, just not enough of them and all of the crime is one the other side of the county along the Ohio River and the WV border. 

I only saw my county commissioners in person once. The new ones, I have only seen when they came to community meeting at the VFD. We like it that way.
