I haven't read about using a garbage disposer as a pomacer. It would
probably work, but it's kinda overkill. The old-fashioned pomacer is
a hand-cranked thing with small teeth like cleats that grind up the
apple. Before that, apples were crushed under a heavy wheel (like a
small millstone) rolled around in a circular trough by a horse.
Whatever works.
