Johnny jump ups and 60F I'm jealous, multiple frosts here and
why do I have 14 inches of snow on my hill near Cooperstown, NY?

and i too found heaven in an old baler and it is interesting to think of the 3/16 shell as a cooking utensil. It was way up the hill and in looking for ballast to level the backhoe i discovered an old steel graveyard, with various plate and farm implements which balanced the bucket.

in the snow today there were still great apples on the trees, the former discussions excite me to storage. i once read about using a garbage disposal over a bucket as a shredder before pressing. has anyone tried such a thing? if all the rogue apples were fermented and distilled might that bring us closer to alcohol than corn? Still not quite sugar cane like in Brazil.
