So I got this Rewards CC to use in my business back in March.  Turned
out I couldn't let my colleagues view the statements on-line without
giving them MY personal password.  They told us time and time again we
could, but never came across with a means.  Then too, doing business
with them on-line was subject to disclaimers that essentially said -
"You gotta problem?  Then you're screwed!"

I used the card no later than July.  Then I waited for the last
charges to come in and closed the account by phone, probably in
August.  When I did so, I was transferred to another agent so that I
could get the refund of the $63 in "rewards" I was owed.  I was told
I'd be sent a check - I was even transferred to another agent to take
care of that.

I got statements through TODAY, each saying I had a zero balance, but
was owed $63.  In Oct & today I phoned in to confirm that the account
had been closed, and was told it had been.  Today I checked up why I
hadn't received the $63 check and, after 30 minutes on the phone, was
told that I was shit out of luck because they closed my account
without refunding the money and now cannot refund the money.  From the
tone of the supervisor's remarks, it's apparent they pull this crap on
people all the time.

I'm guessing they failed to close my account in August, then closed it
in October instead, when I called to question why I was still getting
statements.

Soon as I have energy to do so, I'm going to pursue this with the
state AG.  Maybe these bastards will be socked with a class-action by
the 50 AG's for all the "rewards" they never awarded!
