Andy: In my experience, the longest lasting clear finish is Permalac, bar
none. You have the option of gloss or "flattened". This finish can be
applied with a brush or thinned and sprayed. This is THE outdoor clear coat.

Subject: [TheForge] Clear finish

This is kind of an old topic, but I'm doing three fairly modern looking
barstools that will be used indoors, the customer has asked for a clear
finish.
Anyone want to share their favorite potions? I don't think the blackened
finishes are right for this project, and it's too small an order to P-coat.
Thanks!
Andy
