Entirely possible you have one like mine.  The babbit bearings leak.   Since 
that is the lowest point of the blower, no oil stays in.  Need to take it 
apart and fix it. (re-pour new babbit)  Just haven't because I don't have 
anything to replace it while I have it out of the system.  Need to get to 
that sometime soon.
