[TheForge] drum opening tool

We had something similar at work, kind of like a giant
P-38 can opener. What they have now has a crank and
clamps to the drum rim with geared wheels, just like a.
. . Giant can opener. The up side of using one of these
is there's virtually no chance of striking a spark into
an unknown substance.

You can make one of these with a piece of angle iron
with a welded on pipe handle, just make it look like a
P-38.

Wrought iron is.

Actually, that's a rather neat tool. Like a big can
opener.

I printed the picture from the patent (long since
expired). I may have use for one of these. I can get
5 gal chemical containers free for the taking, and
they'd make good gas forge bodies. But cutting out the
ends was an issue and this might be the solution.
