Would a 200 amp Miller Maxstar weld a 5/16" collar around 1 1/8" ( bar and scrolls ) ? The Miller amp calculator for TIGs is based on transformer technology but opines that less amps are needed for inverter machines but they do not state how much ! How much obfuscation is this ? Ron
