If the equation doesn't work, why not change it? If tents are too expensive hold
the conference someplace that doesn't need tents in July. If July is too hot,
there are two other summer months. If all those air hammers are such a problem,
try a novel idea like dispensing with them. If someone insists on using air
hammers, let them come up with their own solution for providing one. You could
also sell hats and sunglasses to people who need a little break from the sun,
but don't wish to pay three hundred dollars for a chance to sit under tents. It
should be fairly simple to try a different kind of conference--unless we'd all
rather not have a conference than change the ground rules.
