Just a guess here but I have had it happen.

List sends out the post to you.
Your isp subscribes to s service that blocks certain servers. ( 
Supposedly used for spamming.)
The List mail happens to be routed through one or more of those servers.

The List gets back a bounce notification.
After a number of bounces the Mailman deactivates the account.

So it might not be you who is blacklisted but one of the servers in the 
route to you.

I the same thing happened on theForge  to me about three years ago(?) it 
was while D Brown was still the listmom.
Then the screening service essentially told theForge that for a "small" 
consideration it would be willing to unblock the server in question.
They were told what to do with their extortionist selves.

I then leaned on my ISP who as far as I can tell no longer subscribes to 
that service.
