There isn't enough difference in mass to separate in 
such a small volume. Consider this, the difference in 
mass between oxygen and hydrogen is significantly 
greater than between argon and CO2, yet you can get an 
explosive mixture or H & O.

If you talk to the guys who supply some of the special 
welding gas mixes, THEY'LL tell you all about how they 
separate in the cylinder and all the very special 
machinery they use to keep it from happening. It's just 
SALESMAN BS.

If you're really concerned, lay your cylinder on it's 
side and roll it back and forth across the floor a 
couple times. Disconnect the regs and put the cap on 
first. (I hope I didn't have to say that but better 
safe than sorry)
