[TheForge] Coal Forges - lets try this again

Hey Jerry,
The reason I would use Stainless for the parts of the forge that get hot is
rust protection,
Down where I live in Mississippi the humidity rapidly does a number on
unprotected steel

!! gauge Stainless for the table should be fine, just weld a couple of
braces across the bottom, at the outer edges of where the fire pot hole is
cut.
Match your rod to the stainless.
Make your base from black iron, and paint it with Barbeque Hi Temp Paint
If you really want to gussy it up, mix up a bag of Mizzou refractory with a
couple of handfuls of casting needles and cover the table bottom to the top
level of the fire pot lip.
Make sure you make the table large enough for your needs.
I like about 3' x 5', so the green coal won't spill onto the floor.
Add a sliding adjustable stock rest at the stock cut out, and add a
rectangular Stainless water tank at the end of the table.
You will be set for the next several generations.
