Bob,
I have done a little roasting of my own after having some freshly roasted
coffee after dinner with an Ethiopian family. Coffee made from properly and
freshly roasted beans is incomparable.
Question for you is what do you use to roast your beans: stove/heat source
and roast container/pan?
Thanks,
Rick Korinek

Well, I roast my own coffee and I can do it on a coleman stove in a cast
iron pan when the power goes out.. Stopped going to coffee shops years
ago. Got 150 lbs of green coffee beans stashed away.
Once you've had "homeroast" you will not go back to CHARBUCKS again.
Bob
