Bob,
I've never tried roasting my own. But, I certainly agree that "dark" roast is about as good as drinking extract of charcoal.

Well, I roast my own coffee and I can do it on a coleman stove in a cast
iron pan when the power goes out.. Stopped going to coffee shops years
ago. Got 150 lbs of green coffee beans stashed away.
Once you've had "homeroast" you will not go back to CHARBUCKS again.
