Yeah, they're bad, but you don't need a spray booth.  Just don't spray them in your kitchen.  Outside with a slight breeze will work.  Depending on your neighborhood.
You can always have a bodyshop spray them for cheap.  They have all the equipment and don't have to prep the parts....
