There're a couple places you can ask. The DMV, local
welding or propane supplier, Osha, FHWA, (they have
plenty of info for transporting dangerous materials)
local trucking company specializing in flamable
materials.
I'd try DMV first, pick up the CDL manual and any
hazmat manuals they have. They can direct you to
specific info.
The danger for transporting propane in an enclosed
space is leakage and potential explosion. Every welding
shop has posters and "Fatalgrams" with pictures of
vehicles destroyed by gas explosions. You can't tell
what you're looking at in some of them the vehicle and
even the building are so badly damaged.

it ain't real.
Wrought iron is.
