7014 has iron powder in the coating and starts and runs easy with AC. Rub 
the tips of the 6011 and 6013 on something to make sure they are not 
starting due to rust, once going they should run OK. If the rods are so old 
the coating is breaking down get some new rod from a supplier to see if 
there is a difference
