i have been looking through the backyard casting web site and reading
the forums. i have the parts on hand to build an used oil burner for
melting the aluminum scrap i have collected. i am a bit delayed in
building it since with all my putzing around this summer i have managed
to develop carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists and hands. so i am
forced to take it ease for several weeks till.
my plan is to use one layer of kaowool to line the burner and flame
port. the kaowool will be coated with itc-100. this should make for a
light weight burner. the blower i am still working on.
