Anvil ring is good.
Anvil ring is bad.

It's bad for the ears.
But at an event, it draws people like honey draws bees.

For at home work, use one of the methods that Chuck talks about.
For events or other places where you are doing demonstrations, let the anvil
ring at least a little.
