It seems like it would be just like a fuel oil forge, since "biodiesel"
is a straight up substitute..
This sounds interesting.
I helped a neighbor make a batch last week. Once he got it set up
properly (the whole rig is on a small trailer), it's just a matter of
babysitting the converter while working in the shop.
Total of maybe two hours' attention per forty gallon batch. Is it worth
it? Depends on what else a guy has to do...but with propane at a buck
seventy and diesel at two and a half, it's getting more interesting all
the time...
Fuel oil would be way less of a fire hazard in the shop than propane, too.
Cost of chemicals for the method we used was about $.55/gal.
I don't have a shop big enough, or I'd be doing it right now.
Just my two cents, (currently trading at .00005 of a Euro)

I am considering a biodiesel forge, so if anyone makes one, I would love to know about it. I have neverused a liquid to fire my forge, so delivery, exhaust and combustion are all topics I would like to know more about.
