Every one I have seen is the same.   I have had my eye on one from 
Harbor freight for some time.  I made a jig in my mill for brazing 
bandsaw blades a long time ago, making a nice channel for the blade and 
a gutter for the teeth.  I ground a scarf like described, brazed 
annealed but every one of them broke in use.  I just don't have the 
talent.
