	Well, Asbury Park, after at least 25 years of being almost literally a 
ghost town, is on the mend.  Three years ago I scoped out the job of 
restoring the Casino and Convention Hall.  I had some serious thought of 
trying to convince the city to put it up for bid... lots of copper on 
both edifices.  But then the job in Vancouver materialized and I jumped 
on that, for better or worse.

	Skeeball can still be found in places like Point Pleasant and Seaside.

	NJ would be, by far, the best state in the nation to live, were it not 
for the ten million NYC assholes that invaded over the past 30 years. 
It's a political mess, highest taxes in the nation... idiot laws left 
and right (almost as bad a Kalifornia), super restrictive gun laws, and 
the most expensive real estate in the nation.  For example: my nice 
little house that sits in Monmouth Battlefield state park and what was 
worth perhaps $250K when it burned three years ago... well, the guy that 
bought it rebuilt it and it appraised for about $650K last year.  I 
didn't think it was worth the $250K people said.  It's nuts-0 insane, 
but I sure wish I still had it.

	And let's not get into the toll rates on the Turnpike...
