Bill,
To boil it down, I am making a ss counter top with a decorative base for a flagstone deck. In the counter top there will be a sink.
I priced the #4 finish sheet goods, and then visited a restaurant supply warehouse. I was able to buy a 2ft x 4ft prep table with a bottom shelf in a box with a #4 finish SS table top for less than I could buy the sheet metal!!
So now I am making a cutout in the table top for the sinkand will be attaching it to the table top. My decision is:
do I weld the two together? silver solder? or silver chaulking once the base is installed on the deck?
I hate it when I give myself too many options.....
