Daniel,

1) You could use them for tramel hooks.

2) I make cooking utensiles out of 1/4 x 1 so that's pretty close. Leave
about 2" on the end and then draw down the rest to about 3/8 sq. for the
handle. Once you have the handle seperated you can forge the end into what
ever you want, fork, spoon, spatula, steak turner.

3) The pot rack idea isn't out of the question if you have a power hammer.
Forge the bars down to 3/16x1 and you should have enough length for a
reasonable pot rack. And the whole bar will be textured which looks better
than starting with 3/16x1 mill finish stock. A 1/4 x 1.5 x 36" would be
about 65" long when reduced to 3/16 x 1, that would make a 20" ring.

Hi all,
I just aquired (with the promise of lots more).25 inch x 1.5 inch CR
1018
bar stock in 30-36 inch lengths. Can anyone offer suggestions of what I
should
make with the stuff!! I thought of welding together for some pot racks, but
there is a lot of stock and I need stuff to sell at a reenactment in MO that
I
am going to in June and another in August in Pennsylvania.

Any ideas, anyone?

Daniel Kretchmar
