[TheForge] Smithing Question

A few years ago I made an adjustable scrolling fork, it's a piece of 3/4" x
2.5" x 8" with 1/2" holes on a 3/4" grid, a 1" square shank to fit the hardy
hole and I set pins as needed. It works pretty well as a scrolling fork.

I also discovered fairly quickly that it can cock in the hardy hole and
makes a handy holdfast. I cock it in the hardy hole an inch or so off the
face and a little tap to align it drops it where whatever I'm holding with
it cocks it in the down position.

If it ain't forged
it ain't real.
Wrought iron is.
