Supposedly there exists a technique to DYE galvanizing. This is done by 
the galvanizer, during or immediately after galvanizing.
I have asked my galvanizers about it, and they have shook their heads 
in a zinc brain damaged way, and grunted.
But the guy who has actually done it is up near you- Dimitri Geriakis 
in Vermont.

And I know his galvanizer that does the dyed galvanizing is somewhere 
within a couple of hours of you. So you should ask him about the 
process. I think it is the most permanent way to color galvanizing.
