Saint Phlip:
Have you ever tried a dry cut saw, or a cold cut saw? Chop-saws are as  
varied as any other tool. Even friction cut-off saws come in many varieties. I  
won't put up with large friction saws anymore, because they are noisy, dirty,  
and the 14" blades are inaccurate, but the small friction saws can be  very 
handy. Horrible Fright even sells a 6" model from time to time.
