[TheForge] Propylene strikes again.

For those who are interested:
I'm in contact with someone who was measuring the heat of his forge at  2500 
degrees out of a pretty average sounding propane set-up. Upon  switching to 
propylene, he measured 2700 degrees. As it is only rated (by  conservative 
figures) 300 degrees hotter burning than propane, that would  be about what I'd 
expect (remember, forges are far from adiabatic environments  and this isn't an 
oxy-fuel burner). Can't tell you who; it's his own private  business.
