Look for books by Oppi Untracht like Jewelry Concepts and Technology or
Metal Techniques for Craftsmen.
Not cheap books, but if you are interested in jewelry they are valuable
books to have.
Of course you don't need the book if all you want to do is put hammer
marks on a ring while it sits on a mandrel.
