Are you trying to make DVD from the vhs? Or just make a copy of the DVD'S?
For making copies they now make DVD burns cheap under $500. Might find
something as low as $200. For transfer I just picked up a vid card for my
computer that should be able to do it was 250. Or there are captures cards
for less then 200. A DVD burner is about 100. So what I'm saying or asking
is why not do it yourself? The tools have become affordable

Unfortunately the library is still unavailable due to tech problems.
The UMBA board met today and want to solve the problem and get back in
operation as soon as possible.
We are looking for someplace to make reasonable DVD copies that will
continue to play.
Anyone have a suggestion as who can provide this service.
There are slightly over 100 titles so we can not order a large quantity
of each title as we are a non profit group. Most average over 5 hours
long. If and when we are again operational I will spam the blacksmith
groups with ads looking to sell the DVDs.
We also used to offer VHS but means the DVDs quite working we cant make
VHS copies.
The very bad news is we have 1000 copies on hand that may or may not
play all the way through.
I can make you a good deal on them.

Get hold of Roger Degner and pick up a couple of the UMBA
Tapes/DVDs, There are a couple of nice videos of George Dixon demos
where
he goes into making and using chisels and tooling for repussee ... looks
like he mostly uses O-1 and S-1.
