[TheForge] Brooms and Welding Cast

Tod,
Explain that a little more.  Why would there be less induced stress with torch welding?  I would have thought there would be more because you have to melt the base metal in a very localized area.  Whereas with brazing I could heat the whole piece up to almost the brazing temp.

If I had my choice of brazing vs torch welding I would torch weld. Less
induced stress, more durable.
