It was an interesting project. It was located on a 5000 foot tall
mountain top in 29 Palms CA. I just went back and looked at some old
notes we were actually using two 5500 watt Trace full sine wave
inverters, shows how good my memory has become :-). You will like a
full sine wave inverter except for the price :-) Where I live now
solar is just not an option for off the grid applications as it is
just too cloudy. There are some folks around here using it to
supplement their grid power but it just is not an economically viable
solution in the Pacific Northwest.
