Jim,
Makes perfect since, I should have factored that in. Yes, we have a Trace
DR2436 inverter. It works well but the modified sine wave does cause a few
problems with audio equipment and variable speed tools. I'm hoping to
replace it with two Outback sine wave models. The radio station sounds
like an interesting set up.

>>Jim quoted a price of 250,000 for 5000 watts just for the solar panels, I
>>think he dropped a decimal point. Most panels are around $5 per watt.
>>That makes it more like 25,000. The good news is that a home and small
>>shop would need a much smaller system.

>died and get the backup running before we went off the air.
