[TheForge] Super Quenched Dies?

Rob gunther got a 48 rockwell all the way through a 1" bar, I'd say the quench goes pretty deep.  there are some of us here who have a forging budget of about $25/week, because it is a hobby, so 'good steel lying around' does not describe my shop.
